(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 28. Mr Rolland O’Regan, chairman of the Citizens* All Black Tour Association, today sent a final telegram to the Internationa) Rugby Football Board which had its final meeting in New Zealand at Christchurch today. The telegram said: “We urge the board to reconsider its decision not to affirm the Olympic principle of no discrimination in sport on grounds of race, colour or creed. Such action appears to be within the jurisdiction of the board under clause C, section 2 of its by-laws. This would also help to prevent the game of Rugby from becoming associated with discrimination in the eyes of the world.” Mr O’Regan’s telegram was not referred to in any of the statements the board released to the press yesterday.
