Mr Connolly On Magistrates
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 28.
The Minister of Police (Mr Connolly) criticised Magistrates in Parliament today. He said.
“They seem to think that when sitting on a Bench they can say what they like. There are a lot of statements made by Magistrates which should be taken up in this House. I don’t accept willy nilly statements from anyone.”
