Lawn Tennis SUMNER CLUB
At the annual meeting of the Sumner Lawn Tennis Club the following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr R. N. C. Hill; president, Mr A. J. C. Wills; vice-presi-dent, Mr T Davidson: club captain, Mr S. Rapson; deputy club captain, Mr. D. S. Ferguson; women’s club captain, Mrs C. J Williams; deputywomen's club captain. Mrs E. L. Orrell; management committee. Mrs G. Guy, Messrs J Druery, D. Hayton and J. Woodward; secretary, Mrs A. 3. C Wills; treasurer. Miss A. M. Collins; honorary auditor, Mr I. J. Wilson; delegates to Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association. Messrs R. N. C. Hill and T. Davidson; delegate to Canterbury Junior Lawn Tennis Association. Mrs T. Davidson.
The opening day will be held on September 19.
