Results Of Judging :
In Britain
(Neto Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 25. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has received cabled advice from the board’s British representative of the results of the judging in the United Kingdom of the 1959 national chiller-type beef competition. In the judging for the best district display, for the board’s silver challenge shield, the Manawatu district was placed first, with North Auckland second and Central Hawke’s Bay third. The awards for the best individual carcases are as follows: — Mr J. E. Macleod (Manawatu), exhibit No. 2,1: Te Kumu Estate (Manawatu). exhibit No. 56. 2: Mr D. R. Shannon (Manawatu). exhibit No. 42, 3: Mr R. D. Ross (Rangitikei). exhibit No. 18. 4; Mr T. A. Blackmore (Southland), exhibit No. 16, 5; Messrs’ F. E. and J. I. Jeffreys (Wairoa), exhibit No. 4, 6.
