NEHRU COES WELL OVER HURDLES
Nehru jumped two of the standard hurdles cleanly and at a strong pace at Riecarton yesterday. Before that G. D. Lee tried the Hiawatha gelding over the pony hurdles. Nehru is one of the early favourites for the Longbeach Hurdles at Ashburton on Friday. Rathfarham (R. L. Browning) jumped quite safely but not impressively in his test over four hurdles. He will have his first racing experience over hurdles it Ashburton.
