SUPERANNUATION FUND

The Government again paid £1 million on March 31 last, in reduction of past deficiencies in the Government Superannuation Fund, says the fund's board in its annual report presented to Parliament today. During last year, the investments of the fund increased by nearly £2.75 million and the fund now has investments of £27 4 million. all in Government stock. There are now 70.878 members of the fund, and the total amount of retiring and other allowances in force at the end of the last financial year was £6.3 million.
