‘China Would Wreck U.N.’
(N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) MIAMI BEACH, August 24. Admiral Felix B. Stump, ret., told a lawyers’ convention today that the admission of Communist China would destroy the United Nations. Admiral Stump, former com-mander-in-chief in the Pacific, said: “Recognition of Red China is a primary Communist aim. Admission to the United Nations would be sure to follow. “I think we can safely predict that were Red China admitted to the United Nations it would not be very long before the United Nations would be as defunct an organisation as the old League of Nations.”
