West Coast.—Moderate south-westerlies predominating’ cloudy at first in the north: otherwise fair weather, apart from one or two isolated showers; cool temperatures: Outlook: mainly fair.

Canterbury.—Light or moderate variable winds at first with fair weather and cool to moderate temperatures but southerlies developing late in the day; some showers developing; cool temperatures. Outlook: some showers.
