Australia's Wimbledon champions. Neale Fraser and Roy Emerson. won their way impressively into the final of the United States national championships today, beating the Americans Barr.v Mackay and Mike Franks 6-2. 11-9. 6-4 at Longwood Cricket Club.

Fraser and Emerson combined splendidly and Fraser's good form was ably supported by equally fine play, particularly at the not and with lobbing, by Emerson. Alex Olmedo and Earl Buchholz later won through to the final against Fraser and Emerson.

They beat the Australian champions Rod Laver and Bob Mark. 6-4. 4-6. 6-3. 6-4. in 77 minutes. Laver and Mark had chances time and again to pull off the match and although Mark tried his hardest on every point, Laver was sadly’ out of form.
