Mahoni Outpoints Doudi
iNeiv Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 23.
George Mahoni, from Tonga, scored his fifth successive win in Auckland, when he closely outpointed Caea Doudi (New Caledonia) in a 10-round professional heavy-weight boxing contest last night. It was a tense, and often exciting, fight. Doudi, who at 13st 41b was 4Jlb the heavier, fought cleverly in the opening rounds, but the Tongan was continually aggressive.
