SCOUTS’ OWN SERVICE
Gathering in the grounds of the borne of Sir Joseph Ward in Harakeke street, Riccarton, yesterday afternoon, nearly 150 Scouts, Rover Scouts and layworkers participated in the Scouts Own annua) thanksgiving service. The service was conducted by the assistant provincial commissioner (Scout training). Mr C A Holloway, who was assisted by Mr G H. Coley and Miss P. E HayivardL and the lesson was read by Mr H. E. Collins.
The Scout pledge was led by the irovincia) commissioner (Sir 'oseph Ward) and the speaker vas the Dominion commissioner ■f scouting (Mr F. E. L. Hickson).
