Coastal Marlborough.—Fresh to strong south-westerlies; dull, with periods of rain. Moderate temperatures. Inland Marlborough and Nelson.—Fresh south-easterlies outside Tasman Bay, otherwise moderate variable winds; cloudy, with a few isolated showers; cool to moderate temperatures. Outlook: fair. Canterbury.—Fresh southerlies developing about and north of Banks Peninsula with some showers, otherwise moderate south-westerlies; fair to cloudy; moderate day temperatures. Outlook; fair or cloudy.
