Candidates should have special experience in electrochemistry, rapid reaction techniques, and quantitative aspects of the stability of metal complexes. Experience in the biological applications of physical chemistry is desirable. The successful applicant will undertake full-time research in these topics and in microcryoscopy. The salary range is from EA2553 to EA3063; increments are £ABS per annum. Appointment will be made at a salary and incremental limit within this range according to experience and I qualifications. Appointment is for an initial period of five years: thereafter it may be made permanent. The person appointed will be entitled to one year's study leave on full pay, plus a contribution towards travel and other expenses in every six years.
