Borstal For Thefts Car Conversion
(New Zealand Press Association) NAPIER, August 21.
Pleading guilty to 10 charges involving theft, car conversion, wilful damage to property, breaking and entering and attempted breaking and entering, Bernard Daniel O’Connor, aged 18, workman, of Foxton, was sentenced to Borstal detention by Mr W. A. Harlow, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Napier today. The Magistrate ordered the sentence to be concurrent with one already being served by O’Connor for discharging a firearm to prevent lawful apprehension.
