Dunedin Hotel Property Sold
(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, August 21. The City Hotel in Dunedin has been bought, for an undisclosed sum believed to run into six figures, by the present licensee, Mr C. E. Elms. The deal was completed late yesterday between Mr Elms and the Dunedin City Properties Company, Ltd. The purchase of the freehold, which involves the 60 bedroom hotel and five shops fronting Princes street, is one of the biggest property deals in Dunedin for several years.
