Four Hurt When Car Strikes Power Pole
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 2.
Four persons suffered injuries when their car struck a power pole in Hunter street, Wellington, at 9.45 p.m. on Saturday. They were all admitted to Wellington Hospital. They are: Miss M. McIlveney, machinist, Queens drive, Wellington, shock and facial lacerations; Miss B. Gotleib, schoolteacher, Hataitai road, shock, concussion, and scalp lacerations; Miss M. Clements, student nurse, Wainui road, Lower Hutt, severe shock and concussion; Mr C. Robson, Customs clerk, Lyall Bay. shock and concussion.
