Auckland Easily Retains English Trophy
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 2. The Auckland representative soccer team was not extended to retain the English trophy by 6 goals to 0 in a match against Bay of Plentyon Saturday. Auckland led 4-0 at half-time The Bay of Plenty full-back. T. Faulcs, was injured during the match and was taken to hospital with a cut on the face and concussion. Middleton (4) and Wrathall (2) were the Auckland scorers.
