AUCKLAND, August 2. The Franklin Racing Club held It's winter meeting at Pukekohe on Saturday. The weather was fine but the track was heavy following rain during the week. The double, Stylish Officer and Mesopotamia, paid £269 Us 6d for £l. On-course the totalisator handled £87,563. including £11,379 10s on the double, compared with £64,321 10s last year.
