South Africa Warns “Throwers”
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) JOHANNESBURG, Aug. 1 South African bowlers have been warned that they will not be selected for next year's tour of England if their bowling action is suspect. The warning, which appeared in the annual report of the South African Cricket Board of Control, said that the board “will take all possible steps to see that bowlers with suspect action and delivery will not be considered for the tour of England in 1960.”
