Film Shown In Aid Of Refugee Funds
As a feature of World Refugee Year a film to which European refugees were invited was shown in the Rex Theatre. Riccarton. last evening. The film, entitled “People of the Snowy Mountain.” won an Academy award in Hungary several years ago. About 500 persons attended the showing, the proceeds of which are to go to aid refugees.
