Driver Injured When Car Hits Pole
Edward Elliott, of 78 Hargood street, Woolston, suffered head injuries when his car struck a pole in Ferry road about 2.25 a.m. on Saturday. He was taken by a St John ambulance to the Christchurch Public Hospital and admitted. His condition was reported last evening as more comfortable.
