Hemi Dropped From Waikato Team
<Neu Zeuiunu f-iess Association) HAMILTON, July 27. The exclusion of the All Black hooker, R. C. Hemi. is the surprise of the Waikato team announced by Mr W. D. Corby to play Bay of Plenty in a Coronation Shield Rugby match at Hamilton next Saturday. Hemi did not come up to expectations in general play in Waikato’s match against North Auckland on Saturday. The hooker will be P. T. Hogan, who has played for Waikato on numerous occasions.
The team is: D. B. Clarke; J. A. S. Mackenzie, R. Fausett. M. J. McDonald; M. H. Raureti, D. R. Wood; 1.,H. Cathro; A. Hayes; B. Kay, M. Davis, G. D. Witters, E. A. R. Pickering; F. S. O’Kane, P. T. Hogan, I. J. Clarke.
Reserves: Backs, D. J. Gray, L. W. Parker. R. A. Dallas. R. J. Kirk: forwards. J. H. P. Strang. D. Thompson,- R. C. Hemi.
