Motor Traders Elect Officers
Mr C. Cornish was elected unopposed as president of the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Retail Motor Trade Association at the branch annual meeting last evening. Other branch officers elected were: Vice-president, Mr R. N. Archibald; council, garage section. Messrs A. C. Rhodes, A. D Storer. L. C. Evans; petrol section, Messrs H. D. Bayliss, P. Milligan. R. Gibson: new vehicle dealers’ section. Messrs G. W Fairweather. N. R. Archibald. A. R. Mac Kay; tyre section. Messrs R. M. Buchanan. C. C. McEwin. R. K. Bray; electrical section. Messrs C. Cornish. E. C. Morrin. R. J. McLean: tractor section. Messrs E. W. Ryde. J. Harley. R. Gibson:. motor-cycle section. Messrs E. S. Velvin, L. C. A. Byers. V. Cox: used vehicle subsection. Messrs W. Cockram, R.
