ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Mr McKenzie Again President (New Zealana Press Association) DUNEDIN. July 27 Officers elected today at the conference of the New Zealand National Party in Dunedin included:— President. Mr A. McKenzie (Auckland); vice - presidents. Messrs John Rae (Auckland), J H. Preston (South Auckland), D O. Whyte (Wellington). A. Wilson (Canterbury), D. B Leslie (Otago-Southland). Mesdames A K. McLean (North Island) and F E Burrell (South Island), and Mr J H Grace (Maori race): treasurer, Mr G D Stewart. Dominion councillors were elected as follows: Auckland: Mesdames E. G Bray and H J. Thomas, Messrs W. j Court, J N. Stubbs, F G. Massey, and W H. Fortune (ex officio as chairman). South Auckland: Mrs A. E Shaw, Messrs A. J. Yendell, J O’Halloran and D C. Butler (ex officio as chairman). Wellington: Mrs John Wilson Messrs N E Prvor. J H Allen. B. L. Lyons. W E. Alexander, W V R Fletcher, and J S Meadowcroft (ex officio as chairman). Canterbury: Mrs D V Sergei. Messrs C C A. McLachlan. A Burke. E S F Holland, and E P Wills (ex officio as chairman) Otago-Southland: Mrs J T Morton, Messrs W. S Armitage. B. W Turnbull, and R. McCredie (ex officio as chairman).

Hie and Disorderly.— Eugene Tola Amor, a seaman, aged 55. was sentenced to seven days’ imprisonment on a charge of bein<> idle and disorderly when he am oeared before Messrs R H DufT and L. J Shuker.
