Ship Aground On Reef Refloated
TARAWA (Gilbert and Ellice Islands), July 27. The British freighter Beaverbank (5690 tons) which went aground on a reef near Fanning Island, in the central Pacific Ocean, on July 6. has been refloated. A report from Tarawa said the vessel appeared not to be making water. It would remain at. Fanning Island for a few days to reload its cargo of copra before proceeding to Honolulu for survey.
