EYRE COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSAL TO CLOSE ROAD TO ORDINARY VEHICULAR TRAFFIC PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations, 1949, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Eyre County Council, for the purpose of permitting the CANTERBURY CAR CLUB to conduct a flying kilometre speed trial, subject to the approval of the Minister of Transport, proposes to close the following road for the period indicated hereunder: The road proposed to be closed is the Waimakariri Bridge-Ben-netts Main Highway (TftAM ROAD) between the Two Chain road and Chapmans Boundary road between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on SATURDAY. AUGUST 15. 1959. Alternative routes are available along the Two Chain road. North Eyre road and Chapmans Boundary road, or along the Two Chain road, Ohoka road and Chapmans Boundary road, A permit will be issued to any essential user of the road during the period of closure.
