Tulloch Given Top Weights

The New-Zealand-bred champion, Tulloch, is top weight for the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups this year. He has 10-3 in the Melbourne Cup and 11b more in the Caulfield Cup. Tulloch won the Caulfield Cup in 1957. He appears to have been penalised by the handicappers for not having run in the cups last year. He was given 10-1 for the 1958 Melbourne Cup and 10-3 in the Caulfield Cup. This time he has 21b more in the Melbourne Cup and lib more in the Caulfield Cup.
