Flying Training For Two Years Yet iFrom Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, July 19. Because R.N.Z.A.F. flying training will continue at Wigram for at least another two years, there was little chance that a sports stadium could be provided there in the future, the Minister of Defence (Mr Connolly) said today The Canterbury Progress League had suggested the provision' of a stadium at Wigram. able to cope with an international tournament, and possibly up to Olympic standards. “Even at the end of flying training there will be a reduced amount of service flying at Wigram in connexion with technical servicing and communication flights,” the Minister said.
