Robbery Insurance
The Springs-Ellesmere Electric Power Board has taken out a “highway robbery” insurance cover on money being transported in its mobile office. In the last 12 months it has collected £28.000 on 84 visits by the mobile office. The board was told that If these accounts had been collected through private agencies it would have cost the board about £5OO in commission.
