League Player Ordered Off
(New Zeaiana Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 19. Ordered off the field on Saturday, the former New Zealand Maori representative forward, W. Taurua, will appear before the Wellington Rugby League board of control tomorrow night. Taurua, who plays for the St. George Club, is also a former Wellington representative. The referee (Mr M. Sandrey) sent Taurua off after he had late-tackled a Marist player halfway through the second spell of the game between St George and Marist. A few minutes earlier, the referee had warned players for over-vigorous play in tackles.
