A VALUABLE REFERENCE
The “Proceedings of the 9th Lincoln College Farmers’ Conference” has come to hand this week. This complete record of the last conference with its sessions on hill country sheep management, electric fencing, grass grub and porina on the hill country, farm water supply, stock health problems, cutting farming costs, and wheat growing and handling is worth a place on all farmers’ bookshelves. It will be a valuable reference for those who attended the conference and who cannotpossibly have absorbed -all that was- said in three crowded days and it enables farmers who were not at the meetings- to benefit from the papers and discussions. The proceedings include illustrations of electric fence construction, which was discussed in a paper presented by Mr W. R. R. Hewitt, of Massey College. Copies, of the proceedings are available at a cost of 7s 6d each, postage free, by application to the Editor. Lincoln College, Christchurch.
