Dogs Attacking Children

led by a big black Alsatian, is terrifying residents of Penrith. 50 miles west of Sydney. The dogs are attacking people in daylight Women have told police they are afraid to allow their small children to walk alone in the streets. In the last few months more than 20 children have been attacked, although none has been seriously injured. Adults have also complained to police of dog packs attacking them and tearing their clothing. Some night and shift workers are carrying pieces of wood with them for protection.
