BEACH WIGS FROM AMERICA
After-Swim Wear Swimming is one of summer’s delights, but it has an unpleasant effect on women’s hair, making it sticky and unmanageable. The latest beach accessories from America are straw, nylon and paper wigs to cover hair which has been in contact with salt water Some of the straw wigs come in natural blonde, others are lacquered red, blue, green and black Some are even painted a phosphorescent blue. The strands of paper wigs are stiffened with wire so that they can be manipulated into any number of styles They. too. come in assorted colours The most recent innovation in bathing caps is a white cap, plain at the front, with a face painted on the back. Beach hats come in all shapes and sizes, the most popular being a deep-crowned straw with sun glasses let into the front and false straw pigtails hanging down the back.
