Farmer’s View On Fate Of Inquiry’s Report (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. July 17. Recommendations of the recent committee of inquiry on agricultural education had apparently gone the same way as those of other committees of inquiry—they had been shelved, Mr M. Hewitt (Waikato) said today at the Federated Farmers’ conference. The conference decided to “imoress on the Government” that the maintenance of agricultural high schools was vital to the primary production industry The conference also approved of early establishment of an agricultural institute.
