RUNNING COSTS OF AIRPORTS
“Impossible To Make Profits” (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 23 On a tour of the United States he had inspected only one airport that was financially selfsupporting, the manager of the new Wellington airport (Mr J W Redstone) said tonight. An airport out of New York had been run at a profit in the last year of operation, but a glance about it indicated the reason. Mr Redstone told members of the Wellington branch of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
