Broken Hill Pty., firmed a further Is 6d to sell at 49s 6d—its highest this year—on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday. Colonial Sugar Refining also improved to sell at £46 15s, up ss. K.P. Drugs rose Is in a sale at 81s.
Tip Top Ice Cream were up Id at 13s 7d, but Reid Murray Holdings, at 10s 6d, and William Cable, at 24s 6d, were both 6d easier.
Cox Brothers, Email, Silknit and Waltons were steady on recent local sales.
