BOMB BLAST IN CAFE

Seventeen persons were injured when a terrorist hurled a grenade into a cafe in central Boufarik yesterday. The terrorist made off on a bicycle, but was pursued by police and killed. At Constantine, eastern Algeria, a woman leaving a cinema was seriously injured by a terrorist grenade tossed into the doorway
In Cairo, an Algerian insurgent army spokesman claimed the rebels killed 162 French soldiers, captured 13. and wounded 93 between June 15 and June 18. They also shot down two planes and blew up a train and 17 vehicles, he said.
