Obituary MR A. H. HEADIFEN
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 23. . A pioneer of softball in New Zealand. Mr Alfred Nelson Headifen died today at Taumarunui hospital. He was 43. Mr Headifen was associated with Mr A. Jenkins in forming the New Zealand Softball Association, and was that body’s first secretary. When a governing council of the association was formed, he was elected a member.
