Kiwis Have Good Win At Brisbane

New Zealand’s Rugby League team yesterday thrashed Queensland by 34 points to 19 at Long Park, for its ninth win in 10 matches. .

The match was played in warm weather under an overcast sky. It was watched by a crowd of 25,767, who paid £3704 15s at the gates.

The New Zealand half-back, K. Roberts. was a late withdrawal from the team. He has had treatment for influenza and his knee injury was X-rayed. This disclosed there was no serious damage, only bruising. Roberts will be rested until the I first test match next Saturday. His place yesterday was taken I by W. Snowden.
