Nine Denominations At Refresher Course
Nine denominations. represented by more than 150 Christchurch Sunday school teachers, attended the refresher course organised by the Interdenominational Sunday School Teachers' Association at its winter school which ended on Saturday. During the week, on Monday and Wednesday, lectures on lesson preparation and teaching methods were given in St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church. On Saturday, in the Christchurch East School, the whole day was devoted to practical workshop studies covering modelling, visual aids, drama, drawings and flannelgraphs.
