Missionaries Entertained

The Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt. Rev. A. K. Warren) presided at a farewell gathering held at Church House for Mr and Mrs G. Arthur, who are returning to work in Melanesia.

Mrs Arthur, formerly Sister Zelda Greens la de. of Christchurch. was sub-matron of the Godden Memorial Hospital and Leper Colony at Lolowai, New Hebrides, for the last five years. She spoke about her work m the hospital and nursing in the villages.

Mr Arthur, who is on the teaching staff of ..the Boys’ School, Vureas. spoke about his' work in trailing boys as teachers and supervising their work in village schools which he visited A farewell service will be held in Auckland for Mr and Mrs Arthur.
