PERTH. June 13. The Western Australian Government has appointed Sir George Ligertwood, a former Judge of the Supreme Court of South Australia, as Roval Commissioner on off-course betting
Sir George Ligertwood. who was prominently associated with the Petrov inquiry, recently retired from the Bench of the South Australian Supreme Court.
The Premier (Mr David Brand) said today the terms of reference for the Royal Commission had not yet been completed, but a complete survey of the whole question would be made.
