AMBERLEY CLUB’S FIRST SEASON

Successful Year Reported

A successful first season was reported by the Amberley Trotting Club at its annual meeting. Within three months the membership had grown to nearly 300 and by the end of the first year it stood at 338 Mr H. Adlington, who presided over ’’n attendance of 40 members, said that he and the other officers were more than pleased with the growth of the membership The club's first meeting had been most successful and as nominations numbered 152 it was necessary to mn ’2 races to ensure a start for all entrants.
