Anzac Day and the manner in which, it should be observed is likely to be keenly debated at next week’s meeting of the Dominion council of the New Zealand Returned Services* Association. j A total of 57 remits will be tabled, the largest number being devoted to pensions and welfare generally. The Governor-General (Lord Cobham) will officially open the conference, and the Prime Minister (Mr Nash), the Minister of Defence (Mr Connolly), the Minister of Housing (Mr Fox), and the Minister of Rehabilitation (Mr Skinner) are expected to attend.
