Obituary MR GEORGE DASH
(New Zealand Press Association) TIMARU, June 8. Mr George Dash, M.8.E., died at Waimate today in his eighty* seventh year. He was a former Mayor of the borough and was a prominent figure at a number of national conferences for many years.
Mr Dash took a leading part in hospital and power board affairs. Until recently he was a patron of 10 sports bodies and a member of some 14 other organisations.
