MR F. L. CHATWIN
“The Press* Special Service WHANGAREI. May 28. Mr Francis Leonard Chatwin, formerly district commissioner of the Inland Revenue Department for Northland, has died at Whangarei.
He joined the department tn Wellington in 1918 and was later transferred to Christchurch, returning to serve in Wellington from 1922 until 1945 when he was appointed district commissioner at Whangarei. Since his retirement last year, he had been In private practice. as a taxation consultant. Mr Chatwin was a life member of the Wellington Rugby Club of which he was secretary for five years.
