LAOTIAN FARM DELEGATION
Visit To Lincoln College Three members of an agricultural mission from Laos which is making a three-week tour of the Dominion visited Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln, yesterday. Later they visited the Crop Research Division of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research at Lincoln.
The delegation comprises Mr Thao Vong, assistant to the Minister of Agriculture in Laos; Mr Nouphat Chounratnany, former Secretary of State for Agriculture and a member of the Laotian Parliament: and Saysming Boutah, director of the Livestock Division of the Department of Agriculture. They were conducted around the college by the head of the department of animal husbandry. Professor I. E. Coop, and the senior lecturer, Mr P. G. Stevens. Six Asian students at the college were introduced to the delegation.
