EXHIBITION FOR N.Z.
International Junior ; Red Cross

An international Junior Red Cross exhibition will be held “somewhere” in New Zealand in the next year or so, it was decided at the last meeting of the Junior Red Cross Council of the New Zealand Red Cross Society.”
The location, or decision whether the exhibition should make a tour of New Zealand, will be decided when permission for the show has been given* by international headquarters. The meeting agreed the Junior Red Cross would help “any way we can” in assisting relief work in Korea. Hong Kong and Indonesia.
The council approved a system of introducing an accident prevention course in primary schools. Officers elected were: Chairman. Miss M. Magil: executive, Mrs R. Hooker. Waikato; Miss T. Eldridge. North Canterbury; Mrs R. Miller. Southland; Mrs C. Thompson, Auckland; Miss B. Woodhouse, Otago; Mrs E. W. Mills. Manawatu.
