Saltash Schools Well
Saltash showed much ability for a novice jumper when matched with Bosky in a run over six hurdles at Riccarton yesterday. Bosky (R. L. Browning) jumped to a short lead at the second flight, but Saltash (J. L. Cdulter) stayed alongside his experienced stablemate after that. The pace was solid to the finish and the jumping was free of serious blemishes. Bosky and Saltash are trained at Riccarton by R. E. Johnstone.
