Extensions To Bus Services
The Christchurch Transport Board yesterday approved the extension of the trial periods of three bus services and the extension of one bus service. On the recommendation of the works and traffic committee, the board extended the trial period of the service from Cathedral square to Beckenham, via Colombo street, for a further three months. The extension of the Bryndwr service, from Greers road to Grahams road, was continued for a further six months.
The Huntsbury service, via Waltham road, Rogers street. Burnbrae street, and Centaurus road, is to be extended for a further period of three months.
The board decided to extend the North Beach service along Marine parade to Pacific road for 12 essential services a day.
